Process

We have strict procedures in place to eliminate errors such as missing labels.  Whilst the tagging project is in progress all labels/forms and any other information relating to a department is retained in a work in progress folder which is kept and updated for the duration of the project.

Additional Assets

We use coloured coded tags to identify additional assets found in a department.  These tags remain on the asset until it is located on the asset register or is recorded as a new asset.

Additional Assets Form

This form is carried by each team of labellers. Our experienced labellers are always checking each department/location for additional assets and when found they will log as much information as possible relating to the asset, including serial numbers, make, model, condition and any testing information such as portable appliance testing. By collecting as much information as possible it enables the team to search the asset register to see if it is recorded in another guise or to add it as a new asset. Please click on image below for more detailed information.  Dependent on the systems used we can pick up this data electronically
